Hi everyone!

Welcome to 6 months of the global pandemic! What a joy…haha

My life has been a roller-coaster since the pandemic started and it doesn’t seem to slow down. In fact, it started before the pandemic, but I notice it more now.

I felt I had a good new routine that included meditating, exercising, drinking lots of water, etc., but as soon as my work life got busy, I stopped. This is when I start thinking that it is so easy to get derailed from a healthy routine when it’s new. All the stress, uncertainty, quick bites here and there. And when we are back to “normal” and the project it’s done, it’s hard to pick it up again. Well, as I’m writing this it seems to be helping me in some way to see that it’s not so hard to start again. Has that happened to you before? Does writing in a diary help you realize things you probably thought were too hard to do?

To this day and I think I will always feel this way, it’s all in your head. When you start to breakdown the problem, it doesn’t seem like that big of a deal anymore. As a child I used to have yearly diaries and I used to love to write in them. As I grew up, I stopped writing and to this day, it’s hard to pick it up sometimes, but when I do it, it really clears my mind.

If you are having a hard time understanding an issue in your life and need help seeing things clearly and detach yourself from your feelings, try writing it down. As you write down your thoughts, you start thinking more analytically and then somehow it just doesn’t seem that bad anymore but something that can be fixed. Give it a try!

Hope you are having a great week!

With love,

Natalie
